Sometimes, naming a new product is hard. You want to make sure the name embodies the ethos of the product and succinctly conveys the design language. So when we started looking at names for this design, it only made sense that we would call these the Work Pants; clean, simple, and most importantly, functional. These pants are everything the working person needs, nothing they don't.

Our Work Pants feature double front panels for extra durability while working. Front slash pockets allow much easier access than traditional jeans pockets. Rear rounded pockets are less likely to snag while sliding on and off equipment and the right rear pocket has our signature knife pocket integrated. Secondary watch pockets are added behind the front slash pockets, and the double front panels have a utility pocket integrated into either side. 12oz heavy sashiko pocket bags are durable yet surprisingly breathable and we've fully lined the back pockets with this fabric as well.

The 14oz. selvedge denim from Vidalia Mills in Louisiana is rigid and tightly woven, making this an ideal fabric for working. The denim is a bit of a slow fader, but really starts to pop with a royal blue at about the 6 month mark. We've chosen gold thread and copper buttons for a traditional jeans feel, but swapped the rivets in favor of bartack reinforcements to protect any delicate finishes you may come into contact with. Our signature angled stitch on the pockets add just a touch of flair to the otherwise function-first design. Button fly. Double back belt loops and a pass-thru natural veg tan patch centered in the back round out the design.

The fit is what you'd expect from a work garment: a little extra room in the hips and legs allow you to move however you need.

Care information

Spot clean when possible. Hand wash or machine wash cold only when necessary, inside out on gentle cycle with light detergent. Hang dry only.

This denim is sanforized (pre-shrunk) but still shrinks up to 1.5" in length after the first wash.

As with all raw denim, expect some indigo transfer until the first few washes.
